Creativity Practice
A Gentle Invitation to Explore and Make Space for Your Creative self-expression
Weekly Live Sessions with Nora Wilhelm
Are you yearning to bring more creativity into your life?
Perhaps you have a creative project that you've been struggling to make time for, or maybe you simply wish to reconnect with your innate creativity. Creativity Practices are here to help you do just that. Set in a supportive, nurturing online space, a Creativity Practice will bring you into the flow of making, drawing, writing, painting, or crafting – whatever form your creativity takes. Imagine the calm of showing up for yourself, side by side with others, for one beautiful, focused hour.
Those of us blessed with ADHD know the benefits of body doubling, which refers to how doing something next to someone else helps get the task done, even if the other person does not help or does something differently entirely. Buddhists speak of the importance of Sangha, which in non-monastic settings is understood as a community of shared practice. Coaches talk about ‘accountability partners’. Whatever framing works for you, you get the gist!
We get together for one hour of practicing our creativity, without any pressure or strings attached. We will check-in at the beginning, and those who wish to do so can share what type of art form or creative medium of expression they have chosen for the day. Then we spend the next hour or so just creating, and vibing to some calming lofi, until it’s time to say bye for now. Join us!

We believe that creativity is a gift that should be accessible to everyone. Although they often are, financial means should never be an obstacle to taking care of and expressing ourselves. To be as accessible as possible, the well offers need-based scholarships. These come in the form of reducing the cost by anything between 20 and 80%. You can inquire about one through this form here.

FAQs
Is this a structured workshop or lesson? Will I be taught anything?
No, this is not a class or a lesson, and there won’t be any formal teaching involved. Think of it as a shared creative space rather than an instructional session. You won’t be guided step-by-step or taught any specific techniques. Instead, this is an open, supportive environment for you to work on whatever creative project you’d like, alongside others who are doing the same
Do I need to be an artist to join?
Not at all! This practice is for anyone interested in creativity. There’s no need to have art experience or any particular project; just come with an open mind and a willingness to explore.
What is body doubling?
Body doubling is a proven strategy for people with ADHD to get things done they otherwise struggle to tackle, just because someone else is sitting there, even if this person isn’t directly supporting them with the task. This can apply to everyone though, and you might have already experienced that when doing something alongside someone else, it gets easier. Creativity practices are leveraging this strategy.
How does it work?
After booking the date of your choosing, you will receive a confirmation email with more information including how to join the session. The session happens on Zoom.
What should I bring?
Bring whatever you’d like to work on. It could be a notebook, sketchbook, yarn, canvas, or even a choreographic idea. No project is too big or small. And if you’re not sure where to begin, simply bring yourself, and see what unfolds.
What if I feel nervous about sharing my work?
This is a quiet, non-judgmental space for your own self-expression. There’s no requirement to share; just create alongside others. Your work is yours, and this hour is your time to relax into the creative flow.
How often do you run these sessions?
We normally host weekly Creativity Practices. There may be some variance depending on things like holidays or projects that don’t have flexibility around timing, but there should be at least 20 sessions a year. If you buy a package, you have a whole year and a half to get your sessions in.
