The Power of Your Voice • 18th of November, 7pm - 9 pm CEST

Beyond singing: discover your voice as a source of presence, creativity and life force.

Online Workshop hosted by Amelie Mehru

The Power of Your Voice invites you on a journey to your own unique voice.

Many of us have learned to disconnect from our voice. Perhaps someone told us we couldn’t sing, that our voice wasn’t beautiful, or that being loud was too much. Over time, a belief about singing can shape our whole relationship with expression, creativity and aliveness.

Through voice embodiment, breathwork, free toning and playful vocal exploration, you bring your voice into your body and let sounds emerge from the moment. You will explore your voice as a resource for presence, creativity, nervous system regulation and vitality, in a gentle space where it can unfold in its own way. Ideas of talent and perfection stay outside the door.

“Singing is the oldest technology of belonging.”

- Laurence Cole

No singing experience needed. Come exactly as you are. You can join from the comfort and privacy of your own home, and a recording is available for anyone who cannot attend live.

You’ll Experience:

  • Voice embodiment
Bring your voice into your body, so sound can start deep within you and you can notice where it wants to go. You feel more present and alive.

  • Playful vocal exploration
A sigh, a shake or a little melody all have a place. Every practice is an invitation that you can adapt to your comfort level.

  • Collective sounding
Your voice joins the voices of the group, with the option to share and connect with others.

  • Room for every sound
Whether a sound comes out harmonious or croaky, it is welcome. Moments of reflection help you loosen beliefs like “I can’t sing” and meet yourself with more compassion.

  • Practices you can continue at home
Simple practices help you quiet the overthinking mind and move from your head into flow. They stay with you for any day you want to return to your voice.

Introducing Amelie, your teacher and guide

Amelie Mehru is a singer-songwriter, ritual facilitator, and psychologist with a deep love for voice, nature, and regenerative transformation.
At the heart of her work is music - as an expression of connection, aliveness, and healing. In her songs, she weaves soundscapes that invite feeling and remembering: we are part of nature and embedded in the greater web of life.

Once too shy to sing, she now follows the voice of her heart through her music, workshops & retreats - and encourages others to do the same: to live their unique gifts, trust their inner calling, and dare to be authentically themselves. After years of living as a nomad, including time spent in Australia, she now lives in Dießen, Germany, where she leads the ‚Earthsong Choir‘. She accompanies people in individual and group settings on their path toward a more connected way of living.
