ONLINE LIVE JOURNEY FROM TUESDAY the 21st OF APRIL
8 weeks of gathering insights and wisdom about your path
Hosted by Michelle Knight
“The power to question is the basis of human progress” - Gandhi
Take part in this 8-week art-making journey designed to let you live with, and give space for, the questions you hold – without pressing yourself for an answer.
Whether those questions are big and life-changing, or day-to-day ones you face, Living the Questions will take you through the steps to gather insights and wisdom about your path.
Process your feelings and questions in a supportive, judgement-free environment, using different art practices as the medium.
In the words of Rilke
“so that we may one day live into the answer.”
Running the full 8 weeks live for the first time!
You’ll experience…
What art-making as a weekly wellbeing practice can do for body, mind and soul - leaving you with the momentum to keep the habit and continue to look after yourself.
An individual experience of personal and collective transformation. Every one of our students experiences the ateliers in a way that is unique to them, and they all have their own thoughts, outcomes, and insights.
A judgement-free space where your inner child and sense of play are invited to take over from the restraints of adult life - so you can create and make art without the pressure of it needing to be “good.”
Regenerated energy and enthusiasm for your life, career, or purpose - because you’ve created space for self-care and tended to your wellbeing.

How your journey unfolds
SELF- PACED JOURNEY
There are 8 workshops over 8 weeks, and we recommend a weekly rhythm of 2–3 hours to allow space for the creative benefits to take root although you can take part whenever suits you best.
Each week you’ll receive a written guide taking you through the workshop (which can also be downloaded as a PDF) and a voice-recorded guided meditation to complete when it suits you best during the week. It’s self-paced but you’ll never be left unsure what to do next.
This is designed for remote, self-paced participation, but we believe it will be really meaningful to experience one of these workshops in a way that’s as close to a real-life workshop as possible. So, the first workshop is delivered through a video, an unedited recording that shows how it was held live.
You’ll receive instant access to the portal and the first workshop. We’ll then send you a weekly email introducing that week’s workshop, which you can complete in your own time on a weekly basis or space them out more.
We understand how difficult it can be to stick to a new habit, especially one as “luxurious” as self-care. There is the option for you to join our online creative practice sessions where you can dedicate time to your creative self-expression practice alongside like-minded people doing the same as you. Or you could add a 1-1 session with Michelle to receive deeper and fully personalised guidance.
LIVE JOURNEY STARTING APRIL 21ST 2026
This is an 8-week journey with live workshops every Tuesday from the 21st of April at 6 pm to 8:30 pm CEST.
Attending the workshop live is the ideal way to fully immerse yourself in the process, though you will also receive the recording if you miss a session, so you can complete it later in the week.
Once you sign up, you’ll receive a welcome email with more information about the journey, the materials to prepare, and how to participate.
On Tuesday, the 21st of April, the journey begins with a live workshop guided by Michelle from 18:00 to 20:30 CEST.
From then onwards, you will receive one email from us each week with information about that week’s workshop and what materials to prepare. Each session begins with a meditation to help ground you into the present moment, let go of your to-do list, and make space for creativity so you can get the most out of the workshops.
Starting with the first workshop on April 21st, you’ll get to go on a deep dive into the questions you are holding, exploring them with different techniques.
We know it can be challenging to commit to a new habit. These live workshops and the sense of shared journey can help you stay accountable and dedicated to your creative practice. You also have the option to add a 1-1 session with Michelle for more personalised guidance.
It’s not just an art workshop
For our self-paced version, you will receive the workshop to watch in your own time every week, but it’s not simply a link to a document without any further support, instructions, or information.
Each week also contains a thorough PDF guide explanation of what the workshop involves and includes symbols that tell you when it’s time to pause and when it’s time to carry on, so you don’t rush through the workshop or feel unsure when the “right” time is to pause.
Can’t find a suggested material? That’s no problem! We give alternatives for all of our materials, which are easy to source or household items.
If you’d like further support, you can check in with Michelle via email or WhatsApp. You can also book an additional one-to-one session with Michelle for only €75 per hour (instead of the normal price of €95 per hour) to deepen your learning and get full support with what questions you’re living with.
The PDF guides finish with a list of tips about the art practices themselves, but also for your mindset and a section of reflective questions and prompts so you can deepen your learning.
If you choose to join us live:
We will have a group experience both in the live workshops and in a group chat to connect further. You can ask any questions you may have to Michelle. After each live workshop, you’ll receive the workshop recording to watch in your own time in case you missed it.
The power of this live journey lies in the shared experience. You’ll embark on this creative path alongside like-minded individuals, fostering a sense of community where you can grow together, exchange insights, and offer encouragement. An exclusive WhatsApp group will also be available, giving you the space to share your creations and reflections. All sharings are received with reverence and zero judgment.
Living the Questions is for you if any of these resonate
You’re feeling a bit lost, overwhelmed, or at a crossroads and you want a gentle space to come back to yourself.
You know that you need some help to prioritise creative play – and you know you won’t make time for it on your own.
You want to gain insights and clarity over your next steps and want to learn how to uncover deeper layers and ‘live into the answers’ rather than forcing yourself to rationally craft answers to your questions or develop a linear plan for your next steps
You learn best by reading, and you would rather take part by reading step-by-step instructions than by listening and watching a workshop video.
You’re not looking for a regimented course or art therapy schedule but instead, you want access to something for life that you can return to whenever your mind calls for it.
Join us live if:
You relate to all the points above AND
You learn best by participating in live group workshops but also like the option to revisit the workshops in your own time
You enjoy connecting with others and feel that community enriches your learning process.
You need other people and a bit more support to hold you accountable to actually making the space and time for your creativity and self-expression.

Introducing Michelle, your teacher and guide
Michelle Knight has been a trained Awakening the Spirit Through Art (ASTAR) facilitator since 2011, has studied Fine Art, and is a qualified teacher and Lifeline counsellor. She practices what she preaches and has her own weekly art-making practice with the founder of the ASTAR method, Lindy Solomon.
She’s passionate about holding a space that allows others to discover and celebrate their uniqueness. It’s such a joy to witness her students rediscovering their creative spirit and freedom. We are honoured to have her as part of ‘the well’ to help people fill up their own wells and to heal and grow through creativity.

A note from Nora, founder
I set up the well because I’ve experienced first-hand what burnout, exhaustion, and poor mental health can do to us and how it negatively impacted the change-making work I cared so deeply about. I didn’t think I had the time for self-care, and I didn’t think it was worth it when others needed much more help than I did.
But, I rediscovered my passion for life, worked through the complex emotions I felt, and healed my burnout by using art and creative self-expression for self-care.
Michelle's work first found its way to me in 2020. In the throes of the pandemic, I had the opportunity to participate in Living the Questions. I was indeed sitting with profound questions at the time. The process revealed to me the importance of care, especially of caring for myself – my subconscious was able to speak to me and signal what was going on long before I got a burn-out diagnosis, and long before my 'conscious' mind was able to accept that I needed to make a change.
When I say Michelle's work is magic, I really mean that. I had never met someone who leverages so many different creative media – collage, drawing, painting, clay, mobile making, you name it – and makes them not only approachable for truly anyone, but also infuses the process with so much heart and care that you can't help but be transformed by the experience.
When I started the well in 2023, it was obvious to me that I wanted to collaborate with her and bring my skills in to complement and elevate her gifts. I'm so grateful for how our collaboration has flourished since, and can't wait for you to experience its benefits!
We need you to have a full well
Sign up today and get instant access to the workshops so you can start your art-based self-care straight away.
We cannot fill others’ wells up if our own is not full. We hope you allow yourself just a couple of hours of self-care each week by participating in one of our Journeys.
Trust us, you are worth it, and you’ll thank yourself for it. The world/future needs you, it needs all of us, but it needs you well, and fully able to show up for the work you’re here to do and the contribution you’re here to make.
These times especially ask us hard questions, and to slow down enough to witness and be with them. We’ll go through it together.
FAQs
What if I don’t have access to materials?
All of our Journeys and workshops are designed with ease and accessibility at the forefront. All materials are easy to source and most are readily available, but if you don’t have access to all of the recommended materials, it doesn’t matter. What matters is taking the time for creativity and making space for your wellbeing.
What happens if I forget to watch a workshop or I don’t have time?
Life happens, right? You have lifetime access to the workshops so if you miss one, or three, it’s okay. So long as this offer exists, they will be waiting for you to return to when you’re ready.
I am an artist - will this be too basic for me?
Because we aren’t an art course it doesn’t matter whether you’ve been an artist for 20 years or haven’t created since primary school. Each of our ateliers leverages a specific art-based practice to nourish and support you in different ways. How you engage with it is entirely up to you. The process typically yields outcomes such as new insights, a deeper connection to self, a renewed sense of hope and creativity… Artists are more than welcome, it’s good practice to create for yourself rather than an output every once in a while.
Will I learn how to draw/paint?
Naturally you will pick up skills simply by doing the activity. But this isn’t a 1-hour “how to draw” class that you could find on Youtube. The focus is on the mental and well-being skills and the deep self-reflection. The art is the medium for something deeper. Discovering new creative tools that you can return to and explore further in the future is more of an additional benefit.
I haven’t done anything like this since school - do I need to be good at art?
No! You just need to be curious, come with an open mind, and be willing to put all your misconceptions aside about what “good art” looks like. We are not an art course and we don’t judge people on their perceived quality of work.
LIVE JOURNEY: How big are the group sizes?
When running this journey live, we typically aim for a group of no more than 15 people.
LIVE JOURNEY: Do I have to have my camera on for the workshop?
To create an environment that is as similar to an in-person workshop as possible, when running this journey live we usually encourage everyone to have their camera on. The camera is oriented to show us for the first part of the workshop, and when the creative process begins, Michelle encourages everyone to angle the camera so that only your hands and emerging creations are visible. This allows her to get a sense of where everyone is at in the process, tune into the group and individual energy and offer supportive guidance. It is however not a must, and you are free to leave your camera off if that would make you more comfortable.
