online LIVE workshop ON Tuesday, September 16th at 18:00 CEST
Access your body’s wisdom through yin yoga + journaling
Whispers from Within is hosted by Nita Diaz
Staying busy, pushing through, and seeking it all—we’re so used to and often praised for living in this go-go mode.
But what if slowing down is where clarity and ease reside?
What if instead of doing more, we yield and listen deeply?
This journey is an opportunity to balance the yang drive of doing with the yin stillness of being with what is.
We’ll move through long-held yin yoga postures to tune into yourself, accompanied by journaling prompts to explore what may come alive in your mind and body—what you may be holding or wanting to release, and what may benefit from space and support.
“The essence of yin is yielding. Yang is about changing the world; yin accepts the world as it is. Neither is better than the other.”
Bernie Clark
You’ll Experience:
2-hour embodied journey of guided meditation, yin yoga, and journaling
Opportunity to ground, reflect, and share space in community
Access to the replay, playlist, and journaling prompts
Introducing Nita, your teacher and guide
Mariana (AKA Nita) is a certified yoga teacher who loves contemplating life from her mat and holding space for others to do the same.
Nita is also a holistic copywriter at Nita's Coloring Book, where she helps mind-body healers and holistic business owners tap into their most authentic selves and bring that essence into their marketing, so they can expand their impact in alignment with their soul's purpose.
Healing through words, movement, and mindfulness has been a critical part of her journey, and now she is committed to continuing that ripple effect.
“Yin yoga allows you to move in stillness and find stillness in movement as you come home to yourself. Combining this practice with journaling has been a sacred balm for my mind, body, and heart, and I'm honored to share it with you.”

Why Choose Whispers from Within?
Because slowing down is not just ok, it’s necessary
If you are constantly doing, striving for more, or struggling to rest… this workshop is your permission slip. You’ll be able to slow down and reconnect with yourself so you can move forward with more ease, clarity, and intention.
Because your body already knows
The invitation is to anchor through the breath, listen to your body’s whispers, and discover the wisdom within. The answers are already there; this practice will offer resources to unearth them.
Because it all stems from presence
We know life will always “be lifing.” This practice involves grounding in the present moment to notice what arises, accept it with compassion, and redirect the focus to the here and now.
This workshop is for you if you:
Are always in go-go-go mode, with too many tasks and little time to pause
Find it easier to focus on doing vs. being
Tend to work your way through life, often at the edge of burnout or overstimulation
Yearn for space to linger, rest, and connect with your inner knowing
Understand you could use some TLC (tender loving care), but wrestle with prioritizing your needs, slowing down, or finding the right tools for you
This is for the doer who overworks, the changemaker who struggles to rest, the healer who’s been taking care of everyone else but themselves, and those who simply need some nourishing, too.
Because “we’re all just walking each other home.”
Not sure this is for you?
Try one or both of the below mini practices before you decide:
Body scan meditation (3 min)
Unroll your mat or find a comfortable seat
Listen to this guided meditation and see what comes alive in you
Yin yoga posture + Journaling prompt (5-7 min)
Choose a yin posture to turn inward (the one that feels right in your body right now):
Option 1: Child’s Pose – a grounding cocooning pose.
Option 2: Melting Heart – a shoulder and heart opener.
Stay in the posture for 2-3 minutes, breathing into the sensation and noticing what arises. If you have any pain, please exit the pose immediately.
Come out of the posture to hands and knees, and take any intuitive moment that feels good (e.g., wiggle your hips, cycle through cat-cow).
Grab a pen and paper, and find a comfortable position to write.
Complete the following journal prompt: “My body is asking for…”
If you are curious about what came up or wish to explore an embodied practice like the above, then this workshop is an excellent next step.

What is yin yoga?
It’s a style of yoga where we passively hold postures for 2-5+ minutes to target deep connective tissues. It’s also a beautiful way to slow down, tune into your body, and let stillness speak. Learn more here.
I’ve never done yoga or meditation before. Can I still join?
Yes! No meditation or yoga experience is required. Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or seasoned yogi, you’re welcome here. We’ll provide guidance, variations, and modifications to make the practice accessible.
I really struggle to be still. Will this be for me?
That’s exactly what this workshop is about. The goal is to invite stillness with compassion and curiosity to see what unfolds. While we’re holding postures for time, you are always welcome to adjust, fidget, and rest as needed.
Can I do artwork instead of writing?
Absolutely. Feel free to creatively express in any way that feels right for you (e.g., writing, drawing, doodling, coloring, etc.). Whatever helps you explore what’s brewing in your body is welcome.
What if I’m pregnant or have a specific medical condition?
Please check in with your doctor before attending and always listen to your body—you are your greatest teacher! If you’re pregnant, be mindful not to hold the postures as deeply or for too long.
Come pause and soften with us
Let stillness become a bridge to your inner knowing.
