Introducing the Workshop

Play with Fire is an invitation to dive into conversation with one of nature's most primal elements, FIRE. Inherent in FIRE, is the invitation for transformation - burning away, releasing and setting free, for something new to be birthed.

Through guided meditation, reflective journaling, and the ancient act of “painting with smoke” ,this self-paced workshop invites a releasing of that which no longer serves you; thereby allowing in newness and the expression of that which is ready to come alive.

Linked to the Solar Plexus Chakra, this is a space to reconnect with your inner motivation, your self-trust, and your courage to transform. Fire clears the old to make way for the new. This session honours exactly that.

“Every act of creation begins with an act of destruction.”

- Pablo Picasso

This is not about making art that fits a pre-determined outcome. It doesn’t focus on product or perfection.

It is about allowing fire to move through you, burning away what’s stuck, and giving shape to what wants to emerge.

You’ll Experience:

  • A ritual of release
You will write down what no longer serves you and, with the element of fire, literally burn it away. A simple, powerful act of letting go that opens space for something new.

  • Create with fumage
Using a candle flame held beneath paper, you will create spontaneous, textural marks that become the foundation and inspiration for your artwork.

  • A conversation with your inner fire
Through guided meditation and journaling, you will be invited to connect with your Solar Plexus, which is the seat of willpower, motivation, and self-trust.

  • Creative freedom without pressure
There is no right way to do this. You are not producing a finished piece, but are playing, discovering, and allowing what wants to emerge, to emerge.

  • A practice you can return to
Because this workshop is self-paced and recorded, you can revisit it whenever you feel the need to re-connect and engage with transformation and inviting in of newness.
