Empowerment through embodiment self-paced workshop
Reconnect with your body and discover empowerment through movement
Hosted by Jelena Devi
From Hopelessness to Empowerment
When looking at the state of the world, many of us feel a sense of despair and grief. We may even feel hopeless at times, unsure if and when things will get better.
Hope is an active practice, a refusal to give in and a promise to show up for change. Our bodies know the way to move through hopelessness, for returning to feeling empowered.
In this workshop guided by Jelena Devi - dancer, yoga teacher and empowerment facilitator - we will tap into the wisdom of our bodies to move through hopelessness. We will face our grief as a doorway into empowerment through embodiment.
No dance experience necessary, everyone is welcome!
What you’ll get out of it:
A deeper connection to your body’s wisdom and ability to process emotions.
Tools to move through hopelessness and grief with empowered presence.
A renewed sense of hope
An opportunity to release tension and express yourself freely.

Introducing Jelena, empowerment facilitator
I’m Jelena, a dancer, yoga teacher, and empowerment facilitator. With over 15 years of experience in teaching, movement, and yoga, I have dedicated my life to helping others connect with their bodies and embrace their feminine essence. Through my workshops, retreats, and the Embodied Woman Empowerment Training I created in 2019, I guide women to step fully into their power through movement and embodiment practices.
My journey is deeply influenced by my Jamaican and Swiss heritage, instilling in me a love for rhythm and diverse cultural expression. Having transitioned from owning a dance and yoga studio, I now share my philosophy of "Embodiment & Empowerment as Medicine" globally, encouraging individuals to embrace the dance of life and foster deeper unity and connection.

Headphones or have a speaker,
Have a bottle of water nearby,

Do I need any dance or movement experience to participate?
No prior dance experience is necessary. This workshop is open to all, regardless of your movement background. The focus is on connecting with your body and moving intuitively.
Will I learn how to dance?
This workshop isn’t about learning specific dance techniques or styles, but rather about using movement as a way to connect with the elements and your inner self. You’ll be guided through creative and intuitive movement practices that allow you to explore your body’s natural expression, regardless of your previous dance experience. It’s less about perfecting dance moves and more about letting your body flow freely and authentically in response to each element.
I am a dancer - will this be too basic for me?
While Empowerment Through Embodiment isn’t focused on dance techniques, it offers a space for creative movement and self-exploration. As a dancer, you can deepen your connection to your body by engaging with themes of empowerment and intuitive expression, moving beyond technique into more personal and reflective forms of movement.
